Everywhere you look, people are talking about COP21 and the need for a deal to emerge from what is slated to be the one of the planet’s biggest climate conferences. The topics, the timelines and the talk in general can get confusing so we decided to take the bull by the horns and break it down to the lowest common denominator. This week, we're concluding the series with letters U through T - we hope you'll be ready for COP by the end of part 5!

U for Universal: any agreement agreed upon in Paris should be universal in nature, ensuring that while there may well be ‘common but differentiated responsibility’, the ownership of actions and the accord is shared by all.

V for Vision: what we need is long-term vision, which underlines the impact our actions today can have on our collective future - for better or for worse.

W for WWF: as one of the world’s largest conservation organizations, WWF is actively involved in the global efforts on climate and will be present on the frontlines of COP21 to represent civil society.

X for ‘Extremely important: climate change is happening today and it is happening now. The time has come to push the issue on the top of the agenda - add your voice now

Y for Yes: it’s simple- we need a yes to universal action on climate change.

Z for Zero: for a sustainable future, we need to move to a new energy paradigm with zero net emissions. Are you with us? Then Tweet Your Leader today!
